White Wall Cinema Presents – PET SEMATARY

Music video director Mary Lambert famed for making 80s classic promos for the likes of Madonna, Eurythmics, and Janet Jackson hits the big screen for a horror classic to remember. When the Creed family move to a new home in Maine and meet friendly neighbour Jud Crandell (played by Fred Gwynne of The Munsters classic TV series) all seems well. Little do the family know that the creepy pet cemetery beside their house will lead to a wild series of occurrences after Crandell advises the family to bury their recently deceased cat there.  Based on perhaps Stephen King’s most twisted concept Lambert fashions a film of familial terror stuffed with dodgy dialogue, preposterous plotting and genuinely chilling horror in what is a non-stop avalanche of Halloween movie entertainment.
