His royal purpleness takes to the screen in his legendary 1984 
motion picture that offers a fictionalised story of his rise to fame. 
Starring as ‘The Kid’, this fictional Prince origin story nonetheless features his real life backing band The Revolution, protégés Morris Day and The Time as well as the real site of his early days as a budding performer in Minneapolis. Part dark tale of a struggling young musician and part full blown glittering ‘80s style document, it’s powered by a series of blistering live music performances by one of the greatest pop stars the world has ever known on the brink of absolute megastardom.

The film will be preceded by the opening of our summer garden, and a DJ set of lesser known Prince classics.
