Something of a companion piece to Coppola’s outstanding Academy Award winning film Lost In Translation\, Somewhere (itself the winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice International Film Festival) once again explores the ennui of a famous temporary hotel resident detached from everyday life and family. \n\n\n\nStephen Dorff puts in a career best performance in this remarkably touching and intimate story of a jaded Hollywood actor who\, whilst spending time recuperating and giving in to the various vices afforded a star at Beverly Hills famed Chateau Marmont hotel\, is suddenly confronted by a visit from his 11 year old daughter (Elle Fanning).
