This time set in London and Edinburgh\, Chomet’s world is nothing short of a miracle of animation. So beautifully rendered is the environment and the tale of its protagonists The Illusionist is capable of making even the most jaded viewers dewy eyed at its sublime artistry and melancholy but uplifting story.
