Jules Dassin’s Rififi is a twisting tale of four robbers who plan one last jewellry heist in 1950’s Paris.  \n\n\n\nGetting out of prison after a five year stretch\, exhausted master thief Tony le Stéphanois initially turns down a heist job offered by friends. However\, once he discovers his girlfriend is now dating a rival gangster\, Tony sets about planning his next job. Meticulously considering every detail\, he fails to account for one thing\, human weakness. \n\n\n\nInfluencing everything from Reservoir Dogs to Oceans Eleven\, not only did Rififi invent the modern heist movie\, it still stands as perhaps the greatest example of the genre ever constructed.
