On the night we’ll be hosting a special in person Q&A with author and film critic (Empire\, BBC Radio\, Huffington Post\, Total Film\, Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch)\, & founder of the Bechdel Test Film Fest\, straight from her event at London Film Festival\, Corrina Antrobus.\n\n\n\nIn her new beautifully illustrated book*\, she examines Rom Coms with a Feminist eye and highlights the (perhaps unexpectedly) positive contributions to feminism many of your favourites have made. From Harold & Maude to Notting Hill to Barbie\, we discuss her joyous Rom Com feminist manifesto\, followed by a screening of a true underrated gem of the genre\, ‘One Fine Day’.  \n\n\n\nThe film takes an almost classical 30s style romantic comedy approach fusing it with the aesthetics of a 1996 rainy New York as two working parents juggle kids and the corporate world.
