DESCRIPTION:Are you inspired by performing on stage? Are you fascinated by stories? Are you aged between 8 – 15?All Greek To Me specialise in telling classic stories on stage using acting\, mime\, movement and music. Come to join us in these fun\, fast-paced workshops that will explore how you can use theatre to tell stories to an audience.The workshops are led by cast members of the current production of The Minotaur and will take place in the hall where the performances are taking place. All the workshop leaders are experienced teachers and are DBS checked.This workshop is for you if you have any interest in drama\, acting or theatre. No experience is needed just a lively imagination and plenty of energy.Each workshop works on its own or\, if you book for all three\, they work together as an introduction to storytelling\, physical theatre. Each workshop costs £20 or you can book all three for £50. You will also receive a discount code to book a ticket to see The Minotaur for a reduced rate. After an enforced hiatus the collective return for their first post-pandemic event as they provide set dressing and a soundtrack to bring to life the 1973 southern Californian setting from one of the best films of the year\, Paul Thomas Anderson’s Licorice Pizza. \n\n\n\nEnjoy not only the film\, but a pre-screening outdoor garden party with DJs spinning tunes from the era covering the likes of The Doors\, Paul McCartney & Wings\, David Bowie\, Ohio Players\, Blood Sweat and Tears\, The O Jays\, Steely Dan and more. Not only will there be a themed soundtrack but also a Licorice Pizza themed set (for photo ops)\, drinks bar\, and an after film party with danceable early 70s tracks curated by our DJs. Come sip on a Piña Colada whilst taking in the So Cal styled cinema and sonic selections. \n\n\n\nThe wearing of 1973 style apparel is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. Featuring a sea of complimentary characters and scenarios expertly placed to create the films freewheeling feel.
