White Wall Cinema: Cinema Social Club

This past May, after 11 years of bringing you interesting, unexpected, unusual, overlooked and fun cinema, we thought it was time to celebrate with a get-together. It turned out to be a big, fun, heartwarming success, so we are doing it all over again.

With weekly screening events now happening at WWC, it’s only fitting we create a space for film lovers of all kinds to informally connect, meet new people, share what you love about film, learn about film and chat about cinema’s latest hot topics, all in a totally pressure free and relaxed environment.

Each event offers a chance to grab a drink and mingle with fellow cinephiles, as well as enjoy a series of short presentations from WWC. These could include short films, exclusive previews, or spotlighting creatives such as actors or directors, highlighting a genre, or even bringing you films about cinema itself, as well as the process behind the camera.

One of our key aims has always been to build a community around a shared love of film. Bring friends or fly solo, whether you’re a seasoned expert or just getting started it matters not, WWC Social Club is a place for all those who love film.
